Hello, I'm interested in learning more about their trading platform and who it is that trades with them. I'm hoping for a flood of new feedback.
Thx

Until about 4 weeks ago, when they "updated" their software, the trading platform was pretty good (though still not comparable to MT4). It is now a shambles. Loads very slowly, there are almost no indicators available anymore, no programmable indicators, and the entire thing just hurts your eyes + a lot of simple functions that no longer work. Simply download their demo to see for yourself. Intraday trading isn't the best thing to do with them, but I'm guessing you have a lot of brokers who execute too slowly during busy periods. End-of-day trading worked perfectly fine for me... but I switched brokers due to their completely unrecommendable trading platform.... in their internal forum, people have been complaining about the software update ever since.

I assume you're referring to their charting. I never used it anyway, so the change didn't bother me. For charting, I use MT4 and for placing orders, I use CMC. Their software is simple and straightforward, but it has proven to be extremely reliable in my experience. In all the years I've been with them, I've never had an outage.

Order entry is fairly efficient. You can set default position sizes for each pair, so buying or selling at market is as simple as clicking a button. I've never seen any issues with execution or spread widening. In fast markets, you get re-quotes, which is preferable to spread widening. Re-quotes can be beneficial, whereas spread widening is always costly.

The lack of a contingent OCO order is the only major issue. This effectively eliminates the use of unattended pending orders. This is a significant disadvantage, but I'm sticking with CMC because of the excellent execution and reliability I've seen so far.

...yep, if you only want to trade currencies, you could probably use MT4 for charting but CMC for trading.

What's a good word about CMC?

CMC's platform has deteriorated to the point where spreads are all over the place, slippage occurs without requotes, and price freezes occur.

CMC Markets UK had a banner ad on trade2win. I tested their web platform, and it appears to be good and user-friendly. Spreads are also tight, and there are plenty of CFDs.)))
Can anyone provide feedback on them here? Only those who trade or have traded with CMC Markets should apply.)))

I tried their demo and plan to open an account soon.

CMC has the best trading conditions for the new Next Generation platform. No other broker can compete with CMC's terms.
