Trading Scams on Instagram and YouTube

Recommended Posts

I'm starting this thread to warn anyone new to trading to be wary of the many trading scammers out there.
I've been in the industry for about ten years and have seen a lot of people try all kinds of tricks, so I can spot a scam a mile away.

It's not rocket science to call out trades and levels with pinpoint accuracy, but profiting consistently is a whole different ball game that requires years of trial and error and a mental fortitude.

Please share your experiences with Instagram and YouTube Scammers who claim to earn $1,000's per day but are not even profitable and are looking to sell you a course, mentoring, or other nonsense that doesn't work.

My two cents on a recent Instagram and YouTube scammer named Uncle Ted & Raja from Wicksdontlie.

Every day, they have a live YouTube feed that has a regular following of 1500 people. They indicate levels and possible scenarios in either direction and are sometimes accurate "which isn't rocket science ". They will then claim to have profited from the trade without providing any proof on the live feed; instead, they will show some Instagram photos and videos to demonstrate the scam.

Ted is the most obnoxious arrogant Ahole you will ever meet, he will talk BS for hours and claims to earn $100,000 s in a few minutes trading. He enjoys the sound of his own voice and boasts about how talented he is and how much money he has. a total narcissistic deluded fool They will permanently delete any comments that question them and block you from Instagram.

They both use a private MT4 server called Tradersdomain, which can be easily manipulated to allow them to enter any trade figures they want. More information can be found at uncletedsafranko.com.

Avoid these types of con artists at all costs because you will be wasting your time and money.

Very nice thread!

It has been proven that MT4 and many other servers can be manipulated to appear real.

Because the traders domain is not even regulated, the possibility of broker slippage is extremely likely!

Only displaying tradingview and saying you made 8pips and 10pips anyone can do that!

Personally, I haven't had this kind of experience, and I haven't been duped yet (either because I'm very cautious or because I'm just lucky). But I've also noticed an increase in the number of Instagram and YouTube scams recently.
In fact, it's a fairly predictable trend. Because of the popularity of these two services, many people have managed to earn a large number of subscribers. And everything would be fine if the owners of popular Instagram and YouTube channels didn't want to make quick money. And to make money from their subscribers and scams. That approach is unacceptable to me. If you are already trusted on a platform, it does not imply that you will be able to make easy money from your subscribers.

This is a critical subject, because the Internet era brings not only new opportunities, but also new dangers. And people are frequently unprepared for this, as they are unaware of the specific dangers and obstacles that await them. And how easily they can be duped.
Indeed, extreme caution should be exercised in those instances when personal data and financial investments are involved. Because precisely that is what could be used against you.
Of course, that is what is discussed everywhere. However, people continue to believe and make certain errors. That is why it is acceptable to remind people of this. Therefore, avoid using anything in your daily life, business, or other endeavors that you are uncertain about or about which you lack complete information - that is the entire secret.

I wish that more newcomers were interested in education rather than signal services. I'm so glad I went the pure education route and chose to simply learn from my mistakes. My long-term goal is to become a T.A. educator so that I can teach people a skill that I believe is invaluable without them having to take a financial hit.

Wicksdontlie's live streams are incredible. For the past year, I've watched his live stream every day and learned more from him and Uncle Ted than anywhere else. I've bought a few courses over the years, but nothing compares to what you get for free from his streams. Uncle Ted is frequently able to provide invaluable insights and analyses. You have a lot of guts to call Uncle Ted a scam. He has absolutely no reason to make money off of other people. He does not promote a course. He does have a brokerage (Traders Domain), but I've never heard him promote it on Wicksdontlie's stream. Wicksdontlie not only provides live analysis on my favorite pair, the GBPJPY, but he also provides gold nuggets on a variety of important trading topics such as psychology, mindset, risk management, daily habits, and so on. He has instilled in me the truth that the two most common causes of failed trading are over-leveraging and over-trading. 95 percent of everything forex-related you see on social media is a scam, in my opinion. But, in my experience, WicksDontLie, Uncle Ted, Trade with Monty, and Trade with Paul are all genuine and incredibly selfless in the incredible value they give away for free on their live streams. I truly believe they all derive a great deal of satisfaction from seeing others succeed.

This is either a personal attack on Raja and Uncle Ted, or you don't know them well enough to comment.
His daily YouTube streams are extremely beneficial, and Raja calls out trades, Entry, SL, TP...even when it hits Stop Loss, it is well documented for all to see.

It takes guts to do a FREE live stream and then call out trades with exact entry, SL, and TP...DAILY!
Common! Give them a break with how they treat people on their live streams; it's FREE, for goodness sake!

Awesome!

When I started watching Raja, Paul, and Monty's streams, I started seeing consistent profit in FX... and it's FREE.
All of the courses I bought and took did not get me there!

They are doing an excellent job, and I wish struggling traders would watch their streams on a daily basis!

Thank you for the suggestions; those who create high-quality content for the benefit of others deserve to be admired because they help to educate others. Some brokers, such as HotForex, Octa, and others, offer webinars to help traders learn and grow.
